These two numbers follow me from the office to home to my cell phone; I try to answer the telephone myself as much as I can.

Between overnight emergencies and court appearances, my mornings (until about 11 a.m.) are so hectic that it's often hard for me to give callers the attention they deserve. I may need to take a message and call you back, or you may reach an operator who will take a message and page me immediately. I return pages as quickly as I can -- usually within an hour.

The best time to reach me is between about 1 p.m. and 10 p.m., central time (that's between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. pacific time and between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. eastern time). If you need to call earlier or later than that, please do, and I'll do my best to help you out.
